Isaac Diggs is a photographer and educator. A native of Cleveland, OH, Diggs received his B.A. in English Literature from Columbia University and his M.F.A. in photography from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College. He has received support from the Asian Cultural Council, The Center for Photography at Woodstock, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and The Puffin Foundation. His work is rooted in a committed exploration of the everyday. It has been exhibited in the United States and Japan, and is part of the collections of the New York Public Library and the Walker Art Center, among others. Diggs has taught at the School of Visual Arts since 2000.
Kunbi Oni is an Independent Curator/Scholar of contemporary African art based in New York City. She has lectured at international institutions including the British Museum and Museum of Modern Art, NY. Her current exhibitions are Music: a symbol of Nigeria‘s independence, an exhibition of photographs by Andrew Dosunmu at the Palms, Lagos, Nigeria (October 1 – November 30) and Relative Pelican: an installation of steel sculptures by Sokari Douglas Camp, at Stux Gallery, Chelsea (October 28 – December 18). She is currently serving on the faculty at the School of Visual Arts, NY and a Visiting Instructor at Pratt Institute, NY.
