Statement:
My intention when I started this work ten years ago was to create a radically contemporary approach to the most basic, everyday genre of photography: family pictures. To that end I began digitally combining portraits of my family. In my most recent images I combine the portraits of my wife, daughter and myself. As I have worked on these images I have come to see photography – and the idea of individuality itself – as a hall of mirrors. A series of reflections.
